EDS South Africa was formed in 1995, and is a fully fledged part of EDS corporation, a $20b global IT services giant represented in over 60 countries. EDS SA is headquartered in Sunninghill, Johannesburg, and has a local office in Rondebosch, Cape Town.
EDS SA manages IT service delivery for both local and global clients from a world-class data centre in Senderwood, Johannesburg. EDS SA has an active corporate social responsibility program, and is committed to providing IT global best practice to government and a range of private sector industries in South Africa. EDS SA concluded a Black Economic Empowerment transaction in March 2006 which involves 30% of EDS SA being transferred into black ownership.
